More About Mark

Here at MB Osteopathy treatments are provided in a dedicated clinic room. The practice is designed to put the patient at the forefront of the treatment. Each appointment is booked on an individual basis so appointments are given adequate time.
Initial appointments are booked for an hour and follow up appointments have a 40 minute slot. This gives myself plenty of time to fully discuss and understand your presenting condition and plenty of time for treatment and follow up advice. For this reason I do not operate an online booking system and appointments are made directly with the practitioner.
Therefore you will never feel rushed and you will have plenty of time to ask questions. This I believe is vital to great outcomes as the more a patient understands their pain/condition and what maybe contributing to it the better able we are to work together to solve the problem in the long run.
I have a real enthusiasm for helping individuals to understand and manage their condition. I work holistically to empower you to be able to maximise your health by utilising strategies to help you achieve your best possible function for your chosen activities whether they be for daily tasks, work, hobbies or sports participation.
I am able to provide a range of hands on techniques to help improve your body's musculoskeletal function by drawing on years of experience treating and managing common sports and work related injuries/conditions. I also draw on my exercise prescription expertise in conjunction with his hands on treatments to help you manage your way back to full function. I have been practising therapy for over 20 years both in the UK and abroad.
Prior to becoming an osteopath I had a number of years’ experience within the fitness industry not only as a personal trainer to a range of clients, but has also provided sports therapy services to a number of rugby clubs and sporting events such as the London marathon.
I also continue to deliver onsite services to leading industry organisations - services include manual handling training, neurodiversity awareness training, mental health first aid,  DSE assessments, postural assessments and health assessments and advice.
I live at home with my fantastic wife and child and 3 cats. Apart from my passion for therapy and the biomechanics of the human body I am a very keen road cyclist and thoroughly enjoy taking on the challenges of the rolling Chilterns landscapes.
